Program: Phil Sullivan and the Northampton Rotary Club brought Bill Mehi from Tax Point Advisors (TPA) to present an overview of R&D Tax Credits available to a wide spectrum of businesses. TPA wanted to ensure our members were aware of these potentially significant reductions to tax liability. These credits have been made permanent provisions effective in 2015.  In 2016, the regulations have been expanded to include software produced for internal company use, and also now extend to reducing a company’s AMT (Alternative Minimum Tax) liability. Handout packets provided members with extensive detail so they may work with their local accountants. Jackie thanked them all for their educational endeavor and friendship.

Birthdays and Anniversaries:  There were no birthdays. Jackie wished to delay announcing two wedding anniversaries until the members were both present.

Blue Ticket Winners:  Gerry Crane had the winning blue ticket, with sides won by Jackie Guzie and the Rotary Club.

Queen of Hearts: Gerry Crane also had the winning ticket, but did not select the queen. Next week’s drawing $320+

Adjournment: Jackie adjourned the meeting with Scott leading the singing of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee”.
