Announcements/Program: In lieu of a formal program, President-elect Dick Kisiel made a few announcements:

- The next Rotary Board meeting to be held on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 430 pm.

-At the next regular weekly meeting, January 31, the members will review and vote on the 2016-2017 Operating budget and Foundation budget. They will be distributed electronically to all members in advance. It is important members are prepared with Q&A, so a vote can occur.

-The Zero Turn Lawn Mower raffle has ticket sales to date exceeding $2100, thanks to Greg Heineman’s coordinating efforts.  It is the club’s desire to accelerate fund-raising proceeds this generous product donation can generate prior to the April 18th drawing. Dick asked the membership for public contacts Suffielders may use as Rotary conduits to answer questions on the prizes, the cost of the tickets or any other general info. Don Miner, Ray Perleoni and Ken Pascoe graciously volunteered. Additionally, members wish to create news buzz detailing this raffle (including photos of prizes). Greg Heineman is to provide as much info to Charles Roumas as possible to create this press brief. The goal is for the article to be picked up in many local papers as quickly as possible.

Blue Ticket Winners: Luis Lee had the winning blue ticket, with sides won by Jed Dery and Dale Baker.

Queen of Hearts: Tom Sullivan had the winning red ticket, but did not select the Queen of Hearts; next week’s pot is $224+.

Birthdays and Anniversaries: The club celebrated two members’ birthdays, Luis Lee and Robert Lowell, honoring them with the unique Rotary rendition of “the Happy Birthday Song”.

Adjournment: Dick Kisiel adjourned the meeting with Scott Seabury leading the members in “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” as the closing song.
