Holyoke Rotary Club Sponsored Mad Science for First Night Jr.

The Club sponsored the popular Mad Science Show for this year's First Night Jr. at Holyoke Heritage State Park. The show was held at the Holyoke Children's Museum and drew large crowds despite the freezing weather. A fun time was had by all our young people who rang in the New Year in downtown Holyoke.

CLUB NEWS

The servers here at the Delaney House wish to thank you all for your kind gift this past holiday season.

Our attendance for the month of December was 84.8%.  Chairpersons of all committees and events
are encouraged to take attendance at their meetings and to share that information with the club
secretary.  Make up credit is given for attendance at such meetings.

The next meeting of the officers and directors of the club is scheduled for Tuesday, January 15,
2013, here at the Delaney House at 11 AM.  We do have quorum requirements in order to transact
business.

Thanks to all of you who volunteered to ring the bell for the Salvation Army at the Holyoke Mall  and
for our first effort for “Rotary for Kids” at Providence Ministries for the Needy this year.

We will be conducting our primary and final elections for officers and directors of the club  early in
2013.  Be thinking of those you would like to see in leadership positions in our club

DID YOU KNOW  that the Rotary Club of Holyoke will be one hundred years old in 2015?  No, I was
not a charter member.  We could use some suggestions as to how we might celebrate this grand
occasion.
