Springfield Neighborhood Housing Services has stood as a trusted institution since 1978 serving its neighbors with the passion to empower the community residents through meaningful programming designed to teach families financial self-sufficiency using the tools of responsible progressive wealth creation. 

With an unwavering commitment to the community, the new leadership of Springfield Neighborhood Housing Services is pledged to not only sustain this legacy but ensure that the work of our agency evolves to meet the ever-changing needs for transforming future generations.

Leo Williams, the Executive Director, joined the agency on May 22, 2017.  A long-term resident of the City, Leo earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Westfield State College and a Masters in Business Administration from American International College.  After spending 30+ years working in corporate America in management, training, sales, and marketing Leo recognized this opportunity as a calling to use his skills and training to uplift people, and empower people in a nonprofit environment.
