The Nadeau Rotary Honorary Scholarship for Deserving Students
Helen Nadeau was a beloved early childhood educator at Southwick Woodland School, Southwick, Massachusetts for 35 years. She taught first graders and kindergarteners’ fundamental academic skills and was especially passionate about sparking their creativity and a lifelong love for learning. Helen and her family continue to be delighted to support deserving young students as they pursue their continued education. Helen died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 18, 2025.
Rotary Southwick was chartered in May of 1982. The Club’s very first commitment to the community was to present scholarships to the Southwick schools, a commitment that continues today.
The Rotary Club of Southwick partnered with the Nadeau Family four years ago to form a substantial scholarship to be awarded to a Southwick Tolland School graduating student each year.
