University Hills Rotary Club has achieved the rare designation of  "100 percent Paul Harris Fellow Club" not once but twice in the past 9 years.  And through the E Brent Hobson Scholarship Fund, we have awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to graduates of Colorado high schools pursuing STEM degrees at Colorado colleges or universities in roughly that same time period.

100% Paul Harris Fellow Club
University Hills (Denver) Rotary Club obtained the designation of “100 percent Paul Harris Fellow Club” (again) on December 21, 2017. University Hills (Denver) was a Rotary club in which all dues-paying members were Paul Harris Fellows. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is given in appreciation to anyone who contributes, outright or cumulatively-or in whose name is contributed-a gift of $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

The recognition has only been afforded to 6.6% of the 34,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide; to only two other clubs of the 67 clubs in our District 5450 .

University Hills, since it was chartered on Oct 6, 1971 has created 359 Paul Harris Fellows, with an All-Time giving of $927,431.00.

We currently award eight scholarships in the total amount of $38,000 per school year. We offer a four-year scholarship; current funding begins with $4000 in year one and increases to $4500, $5000 and $5500 in subsequent years. A scholarship is valued at $19,000, if completely earned out.
Since the inception of the fund in May, 1996, Rotarians have collected or contributed over $500,000 to the Fund.
