McKinley Thompson Selected as Fort Morgan Rotary Club Junior Wheel in December
Fort Morgan Middle School eighth grader McKinley Thompson has been chosen as the December Rotary Junior Wheel. McKinley is the daughter of Tamara and Shaun Thompson.
McKinley has numerous achievements to her credit. She has made the A Honor Roll and the state spelling bee in 2010 and 2011. McKinley has participated in brain bowl, jazz band, regional middle school honor band in 2011, and National Junior Honor Society. McKinley is a member of the XStatics Volleyball Club, Students against Destructive Decisions Club, and 4-H for 5 years.
McKinley has volunteered at nursing homes with animals, and volunteered at the Alzheimer’s Walk and Sneaker Stroll. She has served food at the community Thanksgiving dinner and organized Alzheimer’s Day at Fort Morgan Middle School. Additionally, McKinley was a speaker at Sigma Kappa Alzheimer’s ball.
