The Third Annual Fort Morgan Rotary Club Chili Cook-off benefited from warmer weather and Santa's Workshop crowds and saw a much larger crowd than last year, when the temperature was in the single digits.

This year's contest on Saturday, December 6th from 11am - 1pm had 8 cook-off stations and because the chili stations were all in a single block of Main Street it was much easier for tasters to visit. For only $5, the tasters were able to sample each contestants chili then vote for their top three favorites. Close to 100 tasters participated and sampled the wares, which meant that some contestants who didn't bring enough chili lost votes when their chili pots ran dry. The clear winners were the entrants that had extra to spare. Defending Champion Jeff Wells had a pot of chili big enough to bathe in!

The winners of the 3rd Annual Rotary Club Chili Cook-Off were as follows:

First Place - Jeff Wells (For the third year in a row!)

Second Place - Carlene and Keeley Brown

Third Place - Lorna Sundet
