Longmont Rotary Club's 32nd Annual Winter Warmth Coat Drive starts October 15th-November 25th.

New and gently-used coats, blankets, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens, are being accepted at 20 donation sites across the city.

Rotary club members pick up coats from the designated drop-off sites and take them to the OUR Center, 220 Collyer St. in Longmont, for sorting, before being distributed on Dec. 2nd to those in need of winter warmth. The center provides emergency resources and longer-term assistance to people experiencing challenging financial and other life circumstances.

The Longmont Rotary Charity Fund  provides a financial contribution each year for the purchase of new coats.  There is frequently a need new children’s coats and plus size coats.

The coat drive began in 1991 with six donation sites and has grown over time with the support of volunteers helping collect, drop-off, sort and distribute the outer garments.

We are happy that we can engage our community in this important endeavor and provide a new or gently used coat for those in need.
