Program: Major Jeremy Atherton is a Military Pilot, and he shared a few elements of his military career…and yes, Jeremy Atherton is Josh’s younger brother.
Jeremy graduated from Skyline High School, was a Eagle Scout with Troop 65 and a graduate from Colorado State University. Jeremy spoke about is active duty career, serving as an Instructor/Evaluator pilot, his deployment to Afghanistan, Aeromedical evacuations and his special missions for the Wyoming Air National Guard providing air fire fighting services (MAFFS) Jeremy recently received his commercial pilot’s license. Keep a lookout for Jeremy, sporting a new uniform, flying the friendly skies!
One of our Fall service projects is sponsoring the The Little Pantry at First Lutheran Church (where we hold our meetings). This means that for October we will do a food drive of the needed pantry items and then in November we will stock the pantry on a weekly basis. Click this LINK to review the possible items. The Little Pantry is open to everyone in the community and offers a new way for neighbors to care for neighbors.
Make plans now to attend our club's Halloween Party, on Wednesday, October 19th. The party starts at 5:30 pm and is a potluck event. Consider wearing a costume and don't miss the chance to get together for a hauntingly good time! We will gather at the home of Julia Bruce, 760 Windflower Drive, Longmont. CO. (Julia lives down the street from Leona if that helps)

Since 1919, Longmont Rotary has served this community through service projects such as winter coat drives, bell-ringing for the Salvation Army, etc.
