Gene Schiferil delivered his Rotary Vocational Talk, sharing key highlights and foundational elements that influenced his life. With a remarkable background as a Fixed Wing Pilot during the Vietnam War, Gene relocated to Colorado in 1975 while continuing to pursue his passion for aviation through a successful career in commercial airlines. Actively involved in the community, he helped with the 4-H organization (specifically the Hygiene Hustlers) and served as the president of the Kiwanis Club on two occasions. Gene's unwavering commitment to his military service and fellow veterans is evident through his presentation of over 700 military pins to Vietnam era veterans. Currently, Gene and his wife Anne reside in Longmont.
