July 1st. starts a new Rotary year, which means new club leadership for Rotary clubs across the globe. The new Rotary International President, Gordon McInally has chosen "Create Hope in the World" as this year's Rotary theme.On June 27th we will be recognizing Wein's leadership this past year and celebrating the induction of our new club leadership, Dr. Tim Waters and Rose Crispin, serving as Co-Presidents. This model of Co-Presidency will be new for us and exciting as we explore the unique and diverse talents of these two individuals. On June 27th our club will have the opportunity to hear from them both, casting a vision for the year ahead (actually 2 years).
ADDITIONALLY, We will be voting on a change in the by-laws to accomodate the co-presidency model on June 20th. The Nominating Committee will also be presenting their new board nominations for club approval and vote. A quorum is needed for these votes, so attendance at this meeting is important. The club program for that day is especially interesting- Dr. Carol Enright will be sharing the deeper, probably less heard story of Paul Harris and his path into Rotary.
