Dan Gust, member of the club’s Foundation Committee, presented a challenge opportunity to all club members. The crisis in Ukraine has once again brought Rotarians to rally a call of service and the best way we can help now is through a financial gift. Dan announced that a club member has offered our club a challenge: This generous donor will give $10,000 if our club raises $10,000. Our club has made many connections with the people of Ukraine over the years. Our Open World program has brought Ukrainian teams to Longmont to learn about medical care, STEMS programs, etc. During those visits, we have developed long lasting friendships. And now our heart ache for the suffering the people of Ukraine now face.
