Longmont City Council member, Tim Waters was available to answer questions from the club members today. He shared some of the current issues facing the city agenda. Those topics included: 1) Creation of quiet zones through the city of Longmont 2) Feasibility study from a consulting group focused on the performing arts and a conference center. 3) Update on the Costco store coming to Longmont 4) Expansion of the library and the feasibility study exploring that project, 5) Homelessness issues/needs 6) Expansion of the Longmont Senior Center. Thank you Tim for sharing such excellent detail in some of the current business of the Longmont City Council. Tim was asked to fill in for a last minute program cancellation.
