Longmont Rotary was proud to take part in Unity in the Community, spending the evening connecting with Longmont residents, sharing the work of Rotary, and having plenty of fun along the way. From a very popular face-painting station to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, our booth stayed busy throughout the evening!
Longmont Rotary was proud to take part in this year’s Unity in the Community, spending the evening connecting with hundreds of Longmont residents and sharing more about the work Rotary does both locally and around the world.
Our booth stayed busy throughout the event, with face painting quickly becoming a favorite among children and families. The steady stream of visitors gave our Rotarians a great opportunity to meet community members, answer questions, and talk about the many projects and causes our club supports.
Another popular attraction was our life-size Dolly Parton cutout, which helped us highlight our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The program reflects an important part of Rotary’s commitment to literacy and helping local children have access to books from an early age. Many visitors stopped to learn more about the program and, of course, take a photo with Dolly.
More than anything, the evening was about being out in the community we serve. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth, talked with our members, and helped make the evening so much fun.
