The Paul Harris Fellow award recognizes people who contribute $1,000 or more to Rotary International's Foundation. Annual Fund donations come back to Rotary Clubs in the form of grants. Donations to The Rotary Foundation can also be earmarked for the Polio Plus campaign. Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years. Polio is a disease that is not as recognized by younger people, but it still exists in our world, paralyzing young children. The current statistics right now stand as this: The total number of children paralyzed by any form of the poliovirus for 2024 stands at 376. These cases usually represent a child aged five and under who has some form of permanent paralysis as a result of polio. IT'S TIME TO END THIS DISEASE!
