Celebration of Heroes Ceremony:

Wed. July 3 at 11 am Wyomissing Stone House Pond

(1216 Park Side Drive N, Wyomissing)

The Celebration will include: the Presentation of Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and Taps. Berks County comments provided by; Senator Judy Schwank, Representative Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, Berks Commissioner Christian Leinbach, Wyomissing Borough Manager Michele Bare, along with Dr. Charles Barbera, President/CEO of Reading Hospital (Old Glory Sponsor). The 1st Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line will provide musket salutes to honor our Heroes.A Flag Disposal Box will be available with a proper flag retirement ceremony provided later by Hawk Mtn. Scouts. Please bring your old worn U.S. flags and place them in the disposal box on July 3rd..

All are invited to walk through the Berks County Field of Honor® July 1-6 at the Wyomissing Stone House Pond and read the dedication medallions.
