STRC Board Nominations

We are accepting nominations for one-year terms for vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and financial secretary and two-year terms (2024-2026) for the four (4) directors of the class whose term will expire on July 1, 2024. The terms start and end on July 1, to follow the Rotary calendar year.
Nominations Timeline:
February 1 – March 20, 2024     Nominations Accepted - submit nominations to Karla Myers at karla.myers@fifs.com
March 21-28, 2024                     Election -
                                                        Ballot will be emailed to all members.
                                                        Paper ballots will be available at the March 21 meeting.
First week of April                      Election results will be published in the weekly newsletter.
 
Nominations are being accepted for the positions highlighted in yellow.
 
In 2024-2025, Sarah Bergin moves to President Elect, Kate Hoath moves to President, Brad Bissinger moves to Past President, and Karla Myers’ term ends.
 
Current Officers Dave Washam, Treasurer, Jay Glickman, Financial Secretary, and Jean Wieder, Secretary have all indicated their willingness to serve in their officer positions again in 2024-2025.
 
Directors who are currently on the board, but terms are ending in 2024 (all are eligible for nominations) include Charlie Amuso, Ed Brubaker, Rick Kowey, and Nicole Spiese.

Our club’s leadership succession is very important to consider in the nomination process. Serving as a director prior to becoming vice president can provide a broader view of STRC and good experience in preparation for the presidential roles. Do you know of a member who you believe would make a good club president someday (it could even be you)? Nominate them for a director!
 
STRC Board meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
