FINAL CALL!!! The annual District Conference will be held at the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel on April 26-28, 2024. To streamline our District events, the conference will include two other events that are traditionally held separately. Both the District Training Assembly and District Foundation Awards will be included in our District Conference this year. This is a savings of $125 if you previously attended both of those events.
DG Diane wanted to hold the conference in District to give as many Rotarians as possible the opportunity to experience the excitement and inspiration of attending a District Conference. Costs have escalated for everything and we have priced our conference to enable as many of our members as possible to attend. We have included a “one-day “package if you are only able to join us on Saturday.
You may not be aware that your registration fee does not cover the entire cost of the conference. We rely on sponsorships from our generous donors to make up the difference. In the past, attendees received a paper program that included the agenda, speaker bios and other information needed to enjoy the conference. The program also provided the opportunity for clubs, individuals and businesses to take out “program ads” to honor our District Governor or advertise your business.
To reduce paper waste this year, we have eliminated the paper program and will be utilizing an event app (Whova). Our two largest sponsors will be able to be recognized with banner ads in the app. All other sponsors will receive onsite recognition.
To substitute for program ads, we have created a “Friend of the Conference” category ($100). If you’d like to give a shout-out to DG Diane individually or as a club or promote your business to the 200 conference attendees, please consider becoming a “Friend of the Conference”! You do not need to be attending the conference to participate. If you own a business or know of a business that would consider sponsorship of the conference at a higher level, please email Amy Korman (akkorman1@verizon.net) with your intention to participate in the Sponsorship or Friends of the Conference and she will follow up with details.
