Over the first Friday and Saturday in December, the Souderton Telford Rotary and Souderton Area High School will host the tenth annual Jim Church Classic High School Basketball Tournament. The tournament is named after Jim Church, the voice of local high school sports for more than four decades, and a ST Rotarian.

As has been the case for the last ten years, funds raised at this event support the research of The Children’s Tumor Foundation. Sponsors include QNB, Weaver Reckner Reinhart Dentist Offices, Living Branches, and others.
Playing in the girl's tournament this year will be Abington, Council Rock South, William Tennant, and Souderton.
The boys teams will be Dock Mennonite Academy, Upper Dublin, Lansdale Catholic, and Souderton.
