We kicked off our first meeting of 2024 at our new location, The Broad Street Grind, hearing from Susan Burnett, Bethlehem Morning Star Grant Chairperson.
Susan shared with us the work of the Women of Action team. They improved maternal and child health through training healthcare workers and modernizing the Ngaremara Health Dispensary in Isiolo County, Kenya. It was inspirational to hear how our donations to Rotary International are making a difference with this project. This team was able to utilize two grants. They will be returning to Kenya at the end of January. We also welcomed a member from the SAHS Interact Club.
