The Souderton-Telford Rotary Club is a part of something much bigger in Rotary International, which unites people with a common desire to serve others around the world.
Supporting The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is also a primary tenet of the STRC constitution and bylaws, and we strongly encourage all members to contribute financially to TRF with a minimum of $25 to $100 per year. TRF contributions are doubly important since STRC has applied and received approval for grant money returned to our district to support a project to provide electricity, water, books, and desks for the middle school in Konkourona.
We have noted that a disappointing 50% of our membership has not yet made at least a gift of $25 to TRF during this 2023-24 Rotary year. Since our commitment to TRF is of the essence, STRC will be sending a letter to non-givers in January, letting them know that we are advancing a donation of $25 in their names; in return, we will be appealing to them to pledge a gift of $25 or $100 in addition to that which STRC is advancing by simply checking the appropriate box on a form which will be provided, signing the form, and emailing it back to Rick Kowey, STRC Foundation Chair. This will authorize us to bill your ClubRunner account and apply the gift in your name. Please strongly consider a gift of $100 to make a difference for those in need and to help STRC achieve its goals! Thank You!
