On October 24, members of our club had the privilege to assist with the Philabundance Fresh for All food distribution sponsored by Keystone Opportunity Center.
This food program is so important as it provides vital support to the growing numbers of persons and families who are food insecure in our community. Each week, persons coming to the drive-through distribution have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, providing a nutritious supplement to their regular grocery purchases.
Keystone Opportunity Center indicates that 225 – 250 boxes of food are given out each week. Many volunteers are involved to support this program, which is efficiently run from the Grace Bible Church parking lot. Thanks to club members for volunteering and thanks to our club for the ongoing support of Keystone, who provide so many worthwhile services in our local community.
