Welcome to the Quakertown Rotary Website.

Quakertown Rotary is an "Idea in Action." A fellowship of community-minded individuals committed to the ideal of “Service Above Self”, individually and collectively, as the basis for success and happiness.

Quakertown Rotary members share in the opportunity to serve the community in an organized effort. We believe in giving back to the community from which we have benefited.

Guests, fellow Rotarians, and new members are always welcomed.

Please Join us.

To All Rotary District 7430 Rotarians,

COVID-19 is impacting us all in our personal, professional and Rotary lives.  We must base our decisions about Rotary activities on the health and safety of our members and compliance with government and health regulations. Even though we may not be able to conduct the usual weekly in person meetings, many of our clubs are leading or participating in food and other relief programs in their communities.  These efforts will likely be continuing through the balance of this Rotary year and into the future.

With this in mind, the following are guidelines for all Rotary District 7430 activities:
·         All guidelines set forth by the Governor, counties and other authorized persons in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the CDC should be followed.
·         Should any Rotarian be diagnosed with or have symptoms that they suspect to be consistent with COVID-19, that Rotarian shall:
o   Not participate in any Rotary event that involves a personal appearance at the event
o   Report their diagnoses or symptoms to the Rotarian supervising any program in which they have participated in-person within fourteen (14) days before the diagnoses or occurrence of symptoms.

We also suggest that you adopt guidelines for your clubs that reflect the current health crisis.

Yours in Rotary Service,
DG Herb Klotz & DGE Janet Kolepp

Quakertown Rotary Members,

At the start of the new Rotary year, we all know that we are in “unique” circumstances. As a Club, we will continue to abide by CDC and the RI and District guidelines laid out by DG Janet Kolepp as we explore how and when we can safely resume in-person meetings. In the interim, our online meetings will continue to serve as our vehicle for member engagement.

What has not changed is our passion as a club for service in the community. From our continued support of the Quakertown Food Pantry, to members stepping up to help our exchange student at Last Chance Ranch, or partnering in provisioning a school dormitory in Nigeria, we will continue to find ways to help those in our community and around the world. As we approach our centennial in 2024, Quakertown Rotarians, past and present, can be proud of all that we have accomplished and can look ahead to doing our part to build a better world.

Yours in Rotary,
Bill Tuszynski

Rotarians Cycling for a Cause

Quakertown Rotarians Kyle Smith and Bill Tuszynski and Perkasie Rotary members Steven Dale and Hank Tur will be saddling up on Saturday September 12 to raise funds to support each club’s charitable work in the community and around the world. Each cyclist has committed to doing at least three 14 mile loops for charity. That works out to 42 miles per rider or 168 miles total. You can help by sponsoring the riders either with a fixed amount or with a per mile donation.

All proceeds will be used in support of programs such as ShelterBox, Rotary’s global disaster relief organization, the Camp Neidig youth leadership program, summer literacy support for elementary school students, Student of the Month programs at Quakertown and Pennridge high schools and other community service.

Please complete the form at this LINK to make your pledge.

Follow the progress of our “Fab Four” on Facebook on September 12 from 9:00-2:00.
