1. Thanks to all who attended our board meeting on Sept. 7. We will be meeting again on Thursday,
Oct. 5 at Susan Aubin's office. Assistant District Governor Kay Davis will be attending that board meeting. Also, please be sure to attend our regular luncheon meeting on November 13. District Governor Abbas Rajabi will be our speaker and he is looking forward to meeting you. So we all need to be on our best behavior!

2. I will be out of town next week and PE Talee Crowe has agreed to conduct the meeting in my absence.

3. PE Talee Crowe: Our next Ronald McDonald House event is Sept. 5. At the time of the meeting, Talee still needed people, but subsequently, enough people stepped forward to fill the remaining spots. We can all look forward to a report on how things went (great, I am sure!). A representative from the Aurora Gateway Rotary Club was due to attend as their club is thinking of adding it to their service repertoire and want to learn how to do it from the best.
4. President Nancy passed on thanks from PP Lloyd and Heidrun Gottman for all of the cards and other expressions of sympathy upon the passing of their son.
