Membership/Club Information
Welcome to the Smoky Hill Rotary Club!  The objective of the Red Badge Program is to welcome new members into the club and to assist them in learning about Rotary.   We have set up this educational program as a way to introduce you to the benefits and obligations of membership and help you ease your way into our club’s activities and goals.

It is important to emphasize that you are a full member, right now, in our club.   The Red Badge does not mean that you are still working to be a Rotarian.  This program is meant to encourage and help new members appreciate the great organization that we represent.

Please complete 5 of the following points from the list:
  • Serve as a co-greeter at a weekly meeting
  • Deliver an Invocation to start a weekly meeting
  • Attend at least one Smoky Hill Board meeting
  • Attend a Smoky Hill Foundation Board meeting
  • Find a committee that interests you and join it
  • Attend a District level function
  • Invite a guest to a weekly meeting or club service project
  • Participate in a club service project
  • Attend a club fellowship event
  • Discuss RI Foundation (Paul Harris Fellow) program and/or Smoky Hill Rotary Foundation program with club Foundation Director
  • Visit the club’s website at www.smokyhillrotary.org; create password for member login   (check with club secretary for assistance)
Your “Blue” badge will be presented upon completion.  Please keep in contact with the club’s membership director or secretary.
Once again, welcome to “Smokin” Hill Rotary!
