The speaker today was Jim Hilton, a retired educator, having spent 35 years with Denver Public Schools. He was also a college professor. His topic was Spell Binders, a group of volunteers who are trained to continue the oral tradition of storytelling. Spell Binders as an organization was founded 25 years ago.
