President Paul Urtz opened the meeting by thanking everyone who came to the Special Things for Special Kids event at Walmart on Saturday. It was a special day for the Rotarians, their families, the kids and families who were served, and the staff of Century Elementary who attended. Some of the other news and notes:
This particular tale of Smoky Hill Rotary goes back to 2001 when the SHRC board decided to begin a new signature project. It was named Special Things For Special Kids.
