Scholarship News

Meet our newest Scholarship Winner!  Grace Aschenberg from Rangeview High School!  Grace is in the top 6% of her class with 545 students.  She's made good use of her high school years!  The last 2 seasons, she's been the Girl's Varsity Lacrosse Team Captain and on the Cross-Country team the last 2 years.  She was also on the Swim Team in 2015.  She is part of the Link Crew which consists of Juniors and Seniors who mentor Freshmen and was part of our Peaceful Schools group that mentored 2nd graders at Century Elementary this past Fall.  She's been part of the Choir all 4 years and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Grace is also a member of the Modern Music Masters which is an honor society for students that show excellence in music, where she volunteers at music events with children, elders and disabled students.  Grace is a member of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra for which she plays the violin.  She has played at Boettcher Hall here in Denver and played Carnegie Hall in NYC.  It's amazing she has time to attend class!    Grace has worked at Meadowood Recreation Center where she coaches kids up to 12 years of age on basic gymnastic skills. Grace plans to continue playing violin as she pursues a nursing degree in Colorado Springs starting Fall 2017.   Congratulations Grace!
