Williamson County Treasurer

Scott Heselmeyer has served as Williamson County Treasurer since 2017. A 6th generation Williamson County resident, Scott is a graduate of Thrall High School, Texas A&M University and Georgetown University Law Center.

In addition to his duties as County Treasurer, Scott has practiced law in Round Rock for 19 years and serves as President of the Williamson County Fair and Rodeo. He has previously served on numerous boards, including the Williamson County Livestock Association, CHASCO Family YMCA and Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County.

Scott makes every attempt to spend the bulk of his time pretending to be either a cattle rancher or bow hunter.  He and his wife, Amanda, have two children, Kirsten (a freshman at Connor State College and fellow cow connoisseur) and Preston (a high school sophomore who favors fast cars and electric guitars).
