RCA Virtual Board Meeting

AGENDA of the board meeting on November 15^th, 2021

1. Opening

2. Short introduction of DG Sonya to the board members by AG Lufrido;

3. Short introduction of the board members to AG Sonya by the P Frederick;

4. The assigned board member will share the Club's plans and goals of the current club year alligned with RI and District goals;

5. Free Speech

The assigned board members to their respective Club's goals and plans are as follow. In light of the limited time it is advisable for each board member to choose one subject of the goals and plans mentioned below, while the DG can request information and explanation on any of the subject mentioned: 

1. Club administration – PE Emilie Arends (leave of absence) - presented by P Frederick
   • present draft Strategic Plan together with President and get feedback
   from membership.
   • prepare renewed Club Constitution and Bylaws.
   • plan and execute program and social events.
   • encourage membership participation in 1 of 7 online Presidential Conferences.

2. Membership – TE Shelby Maduro
   • plan and conduct a Member’s Satisfaction Survey and present results to membership. • develop a Membership Development Plan.
   • increase membership by 5-10% - more diverse and representation of the community. • encourage club’s members to open a My Rotary account.
   • engage partners in service.
   • organize a Leadership Training Program.

3. Public image – D Kareline van der Linden (leave of absence) presented by P Frederick
   • publish our service work though local media, District website / newsletter and Rotary Showcase.
   • invite members of the press to cover our service work.
   • make club website, Facebook page and Instagram more visually appealing.
   • create a customize digital brochure for community members and prospect members – use QR codes to make these accessible.

4. Service projects – AG Lufrido Croes
   • plan and execute a Childhood Obesity project.
   • organize a RYLA.
   • plan and execute a Covid related project: e.g. support the vaccination campaign  
   • align one of our projects and organize a Rotary Day of Service.

5. Rotary Foundation – D Don de Veer
   • propose and execute a new Covid-proof fundraising event.
   • apply for Global/District grant.
   • plan and execute to become a Peacebuilder club.
   • explore and propose exchange of knowledge and experience with NGO’s.

As the assigned board member goes thru the various sections, the DG will interact with comments on the goals and the plans.
The board members, who are not presenting, are free to ask questions.
