Hybrid (dinner & Zoom) meeting on October 19

Dear fellows,

On Monday October 19, we will have our first dinner meeting since 12 weeks. For more than 1 reason, I hope that you will all appear at the (3 course) dinner meeting in person. The alternative is that you join through Zoom. For the Zoom meeting, all Rotaracters and Interacters are invited as well. Special guests (in the Zoom) are the District Governor from St Lucia, Mr. Lisle Chase and the Area Governor of the ABC-islands, Mrs. Rita Markies from Curacao.  

Aside from their presence, the highlights are – for which all members should be present in the dinner meeting:
i. the pinning of our 4 newest members FR’s Ryon, Kareline, Kapil and Jonathan, 
ii. the handing out of the Roster books, receiving your 2020/2021 pin and the possibility of fellowship. 

For those reasons, the run of show and agenda is as follows:

            Pre-meeting from 6.45 (follow instructions Divi - see the bottom)

1.         Opening meeting @ 7 pm
2.         National anthems
3.         Welcome to DG & AG and explain set up evening
4.         Attendance members & guests
5.         Speech of DG (3-5 min)
6.         Appetizer
7.         Pinning 4 members by/with DG
8.         Q&A to/from DG
9.         Thank you towards DG & AG; singing (with face masks) of the closing song (appr. 7.45 pm)
10.       Main course & fellowship
11.       (Free word)
12.       Dessert 
13.       After-meeting until max 9 pm 

Divi would like to be pre-informed of the number of people, for which we ask you to register. Guests are definitely welcome but if we reach the limit of availability, then we have to make choices. 

Strict COVID-rules apply and other is as follows (see below):

Tables of 4 (rectangular tables in all three sections) 

Mask up until you reach the table 

Temperature check at the entrance 

Hand sanitizer  

Directly to the table; drink service is only at the table, no lingering at the bar

Zoom set up on three screens. District Governor speaks to us from zoom 

Any other member not present can join on zoom 

A camera will show the crowd and with the microphones, the zoom participants will be able to hear who speaks in the room
