Meeting notes

March 28, 2018

 

-President Karen rang the bell to start the meeting

-Bob led us in the pledge

-Cameron had the thought for the day

-Everyone thanked Bob for the nice evening at the Rotary social at Boulder Creek Pizza & Pub.

-Karen reminded the club of the upcoming events:

            -April 7^th Rotary Homeless Service Center project

            -April 14^th Farm to Table dinner for Polioplus

            -April 21^st Water to Wine – Sunrise Rotary club

            -April 28^th Lacy J Dalton concert- Scotts Valley Rotary

            -June 9^th Lobster Fest at Watsonville Fairground

 

-Janet explained the possible fundraising event of volunteering for the Luxury Home Tour on June 23^rd.  The club was interested so Janet will apply on behalf of the club.

 

-District Training – April 14^th.  Interested Rotary members will have the $49 cost covered by the club. 

 

-Don challenged us as detective.

 

-Happy bucks

 

-Mike introduced Libby Leydon, the new editor of the Press Banner.

 

-Libby spoke a little about herself then answered many questions about the Press Banner.

 

-Cameron had the raffle number but didn’t pick the Joker.
