It's too late now to mail in your ballot, so go in person or drop-off Sunday, Monday or Tuesday>

When? In person or drop-off
Sunday, November 1: 9am to 5pm
Monday, November 2: 8am to 5pm
Tuesday, Election Day, November 3: 7am to 8pm.
Where? In person voting, or drop off your ballot at:
Santa Cruz County Clerk/Elections: 701 Ocean St., Room 310, Santa Cruz
Any voter may go to any voting location. Services will include:
  • obtaining a replacement ballot - you do not need to bring in the ballot we mailed you. We can void the previously issued ballot when you come in to vote.
  • voting and turning in the ballot mailed to you,
  • using the Tablet to vote on an accessible ballot or a ballot in Spanish, and
  • registering and voting on the same day.
For quick and easy drop off, there are several Santa Cruz County OFFICIAL Ballot Box locations. The boxes will be locked at 8 pm voting day, Tuesday, November 3rd.  They are available 24/7 for drop off until then, and emptied several times a day. They are tough looking, shiny metal with Santa Cruz County Official Ballot Drop Box in big fonts, and bolted to the ground..
Where?... Three places in the SLV (besides the go-inside-live open 9-5 Sunday; 8-5 Monday and 7am to 8 pm on Election Day Tuesday:
Highlands Park, as you enter the parking lot itself.
At the Boulder Creek Library near the steps to the entrance.
Just inside the parking lot of the Felton Covered Bridge Park
