Today was the club's annual New Teachers Breakfast. We recognized the school administrators of the SLV USD as they introduced the new teachers for the upcoming year. The new Middle School principal, Terry Redfern, noticed the Rotary banner with the Four-Way test and was quite impressed, saying that these were excellent values for his middle schoolers to learn and practice. Our president Bob Frobish said a few words in praise of the school district and then Superintendent Laurie Bruton introduced each principal with new teachers this year: Terry Redfern, SLV Middle School; Jeff Calden, SLV High School; Rhonda Schlosser, SLV Charter; Denise Fosburgh, Boulder Creek Elementary; and Jan Lahey, SLV Elementary.
This event is the favorite of member Sue Seeger, she is the key person in putting this together.
