The Thursday evening meeting was the annual Speech Contest for SLV High School students. We had seven speakers who did a great job speaking in a room full of strangers. Jeff Calden, SLV High principal, presided and managed the process. First place winner was Lukas Hager, Lukas will go on to the Area 7 contest in March.
