This was a nice success for the club.
Thank you to everyone who helped on Saturday to make it a successful fundraiser. Over 50 community members stopped by to shred everything from a small bag of papers, up to 30 boxes from one business. The club made $1880 for a four hour event, and those funds will be going toward the club’s Youth projects. But even more important, the club members got to see and chat with each other and that was priceless to us all.
Thank you to our sponsors, Bay Federal, BC Pizza & Pub, North Glass and especially Liberty Bank. Liberty Bank in Boulder Creek allowed for the event to happen in their drive thru area, provided a cashbox for us to use, and also provided all the printing of the flyers and the thank you’s that went out to everyone who participated. Thank you to Ginia Klamner, the manager at Boulder Creek Liberty Bank!
