Guest Speaker: Scott Deal, filmmaker and owner of Nashville West Studios
Scott is currently working on a series of videos that look at what happened to Cowboy and Western music by filming several C&W artists talking about their music. Cowboy and Western music is not currently recognized at the Country Music Awards and Scott is trying to change this. Scott shared his first 20-minute podcast—that also included images and live performances. He believes by making adding visuals to the podcast the work will be sustained longer.
Scott has an idea that Rotary could have a casino fundraiser. He would be memorializing the event in film and the “dealers” at the event would be his actors.
Drawing: Carol found the queen!
