Today we inducted three new members into the club: Jacqui Rice representing the Valley Women's Club, Chris Schiermeyer SLV USD Superintendent & Andrew Lucia SLV USD Chief Human Resources Officer. Our speaker was Liz Taylor-Selling of Felton area CERT. She and her husband Dan have lived in Felton Grove for 36 years. She retired from Dominican Hospital and became a full-time community volunteer primarily in CERT. She spoke on the various disaster call-out responses she has assisted with CERT over the years. And how CERT is organized into the county first responders organizations.
