Theresa and Bill came to give us an update on the BECA program. One of the major donors is retiring and will no longer be contributing to the program. Bill said that originally it started out very small, but because it now has 300 students, they realize it is unsustainable. The BECCA program costs between $25-30,000 and funding has become quite an issue. Theresa shared news from a few possible donors and hopes that some of the US tribes might donate to this project. We also agreed to brainstorm some ideas at our next assembly.
Drawing: Theresa drew her own name and donated the $5 back to the club!
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 am
