Scott and Linda went to Hawaii with their son’s and five grandchildren last week. Scott attended a meeting at the Kona Club. He was welcomed by the club with big hugs and given a banner to bring back to SLV.

In 1947, Scott was born in Salinas and attended K-12 school there. His parents were musicians and he was encouraged to play the trumpet. In college Scott studied film and he later worked in SF in advertising. “Milk does the body good,” was one of Scott’s campaign lines and most of the Dairy advertising from those early days has Scott’s thumb print on it. He also worked on PGE’s advertising campaign.

Scott has two children. One of Scott’s sons works in film and the other is an engineer. Scott will share his film, That’s How We Roll, at the social at his house in August.

Detective: Karen enriched our lives with many new facts about parades!!

  • Karen asked that we put the Felton Community Hall on our list for a Christmas fundraiser.

Drawing: Linda pulled the K of spades—“too bad, so sad”.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 am
