  • 4th of July Parade meet at 9:30 in Boulder Creek. Party at Bob’s immediately following the parade
Guest speaker:
  • Julie presented the By-law changes – the Board recommended the changes Cindy motion
  • Rotary Retreat on Saturday, Sept 21- time TBD
  • Joe gave an update on the Lacy J Dalton concert- net $12,600. SLV will get half of that. There were members that wanted to do a debrief with SV but Linda said she had already requested it and doesn’t think it will happen. There are some concerns about doing another fund raiser with them. Last week SLV did a little of debriefing but members thought a more thorough analysis on our part was needed. The following was brought up: what we brought in on ticket sales and sponsorship vs what we made on the event.
  • Gil Gunn’s 100th birthday is Sept 24th- Julie and Joe to meet with Gil and Marge next week. We are thinking about hosting a celebration on the 25th. We will discuss a honorary gift at a future meeting.
  • Rotarcare- needs more volunteers on Tuesday: register people, computer comfortable, bilingual is helpful but not necessary.
  • Cindy had a great time in Germany and shared the banner she received from Zambia.
  • Julie will send out info on Linda’s debunking- July 4 at Bob’s house in BC
Detective: Karen had some tricky questions and made lots of money for the club!
Drawing: Nope. Ralph could not find that joker.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 a.m.
