Today was the Club Assembly meeting for April. 
Member Laurie Bruton brought the student-designed banner that will be used at the District Conference to represent our club.

Minutes of Rotary Club of SLV
May 8, 2019
 
 
President Linda opened the meeting with Rotary’s Four Way Test and the Thought for the Day.
 
Assembly-
  • Rotoract has a service project planned at a farm in Santa Cruz on Sunday, May 19. Linda is emailing the details and they are looking for help.
  • Wednesday, May 29 the club is DARK. May 30 is a social at Justin’s house in
  • We sang happy anniversary to Scott
  • There is a grant for the Boulder Creek Library
  • Memorial Day Parade- Saturday, May 25. Arrive at 9:00 to help decorate. Parade starts at 10:00.
  • Lacy J Dalton results- inconclusive on the $$. Linda has asked Bill to do a debriefing with SLV.
  • Remember the Conference is coming up and Karen and Ron are being honored on Saturday night, May 18. It’s not too late to sign up. The conference is free but there is a charge for the dinner.
  • Ken still has some slots and would appreciate your help in filling it.
  • Lorie shared the new club banner. Thank you!
  • June 27 is the RYLA BBQ, you might want to carpool
  • Henry Cowell park needs help in the store. Any interest in volunteering, please see Carol.
  • Read scholarship applications after today’s meeting.
  • Julie reviewed the Bylaws and there was some discussion around individual changes. We will send out corporate membership language to the club to consider adding it to the bylaws.
