Members in attendance: Judy, Don, Laurie, Janet, Linda, Joe, Julie, Eric, Mary, Mike, Charles, Steve, Ken, Karen, Carol, Sue, Thomas, Brenda, Bill and Ralph. Guests: Bill Rush and Violet Smith
 
President Mike opened the meeting with the flag salute, introductions and Thought for the Day.
 
Announcements: Bill announced dates of the annual trip to Mexico. It’s August 31-September 3. All Rotarians are encouraged to join the trip. Janet announced Boulder Creek’s Town Sweep on Saturday and the BCE’s school Carnival - both on Saturday, March 16. President Mike and the SV president have identified a project for joint participation—additional details to follow. May 25 is a Rotary trip to Heritage House in Watsonville. May 18 is our last meeting at Mt. Hermon - our usual summer hiatus. New venue will be discussed. We socked our president today!!

Bailey, from the UCSC Interact Club, presented information about their club and a recent award for their Facebook page. Club activities and leadership were quite impressive!
 
Redwood Mt. Fair – June 2, 3, 4 & 5. Ken, with the help of Eric and Violet, spoke about the upcoming Redwood Mt. Fair and Rotarians signed-up for shifts. If you don’t work, please plan to donate $50. Check-in is at the schoolhouse.
 
Felton Remembers Parade on Saturday, May 28. Hold the date and plan to attend!
