Today's speaker was Sam Bishop, member of the Rotary Club of Santa Cruz. He showed beautiful slides of the fishing trip he took into the South American country of Guyana. He used just a fly rod to catch and release some giant river fish, some over 100 pounds. Most of the fish he caught had lots of large and sharp teeth.

A few of the announcements today:
- Member Cindy Sekkel is looking for more volunteers to help with Rotacare.
- Linda reminded the group that the Felton Remembers parade is this month on the 25th.
- Linda and Karen also reminded the club of the District Conference this month, the 17th, 18th and 19th.
- And Ken is looking for a couple more volunteers to work Redwood Mountain Faire Internal Traffic Control.
