Guest Speaker: Jim LeBlanc is from the Saratoga Club and Rotary Foundation Chair for District 5170. Rotary Foundation is the largest foundation in the world and next year will celebrate their 100 year anniversary. The goal of the foundation is to help others. Jim shared several slides of different projects and showed a video illustrating how Rotary Clubs are contributing to others. He also shared that you can contribute automatically. Jim is challenging District 5170 to give $1,000,000 next year. This can happen if each Rotarian donates $25-$30 a month. Jim presented several Rotarians with their pins for being double sustainers and as well as recognizing Paul Harris recipients – levels 1, 2 and 3.

Governor Susan Valente encouraged our club to attend Rotary 5170’s Conference at the Marriot San Ramon on April 29-May 1. Early bird sign-up ends on April 1.

Drawing: $758+. Bill’s ticket was drawn and he drew a lucky 3. So sad!
