Speaker: Bob Frobish, Red Badge Talk
Bob grew up in Kansas and was the oldest of 4 boys. He was a Eagle Scout and a swimmer in HS. He enlisted in the Navy and was stationed at Treasure Island. He was trained in electronics and traveled to several countries in the world. After four years in the service, Bob moved to the Bay Area and worked for several tech companies and eventually retired from Lockheed. He also made several trips to see space shuttle launches and described the ground shaking as it took off.

Bob met his wife, Cindy, in Redwood City and moved to Boulder Creek. Together they hosted many students from foreign countries. Students from Japan and Europe spent two weeks in the US. The weekends were dedicated to taking kids to the tourist spots. Bob and Cindy shared a time that they hosted the Russian student chaperone. Bob’s family includes many nieces and nephews and now grandnieces and nephews! Bob has volunteered with several non-profits. Cindy and Bob enjoy traveling—they have gone to Europe several times and are headed across county on a train trip and a reunion with his brothers. This summer also includes a European river trip and several side trips to visit family and see parts of Great Britain.

Detective: Don quizzed us on the Spice of Life!! (Obviously we need to spend more time in the kitchen.)

Drawing: No joker. That’s okay—the jackpot is small.

The meeting was adjourned at a.m.
