-Mike introduced our Speaker Brian King from Wilderness Skills Institute.

Brian King

Brian first told how his grandfather from Phoenix had met Paul Harris on a train and his grandfather decided he wanted to have the Phoenix 100th Rotary Club chartered and was able to accomplish that.

The Wilderness Skills Institute is an education outside in nature.  It is a 180-day school located in Scotts Valley for students K-12 were they can receive a HS diploma.  They also offer summer camps for 3 weeks.  They will have 14 students in the Fall.  Brian showed  a presentation of all the different activities the students are exposed to and answered questions after.
