Club Assembly –
- Cub Scout 654 is decorating a tree at Roaring Camp. Must be decorated between the 19 and 21st. Mark asked if we were interested in having a Rotary tree, Julie will chair the decorating.
- Judi S spoke about the Community Resource Center in Paradise. There are lists of needed items, and of course, money always helps. Judi will keep us informed of opportunities to support fire victims in this area.
- Mike and Heather suggested having the Community Resource Center in Paradise as the recipient of our holiday giving. The members agreed.
- Valley Churches is looking to distribute bags of food in Boulder Creek. Judy is offering the bank as a location for pick-up but we will need volunteers on Friday morning from 9-10. This will start in January.
- Lacey J. Dalton fundraiser – SVR has asked us to help with this year’s fundraiser. We would need to put up fliers and staff the tables the day of the concert, co-chair the event, help sell tickets and find sponsors. The club agreed that this would be a great way to support our neighboring club.
- Speakers – everyone needs to be looking for quality speakers. Cindy will vet speakers you find and Scott will schedule
- Looking at sponsoring an affiliate club in the evenings down in BC. There were a few BC members who said they would be willing to get this started.
- Looking for help around the house? Contact our local Rotaract students at Rotaract.santacruz@gmail.com
