Today's speaker was Christine Chopra, Executive Director of the S4C. The goal of S4C is to increase post-secondary access and attainment for students in Santa Cruz County.

Karen announcements:

-Fireside chat for Bob Frobish immediately after the meeting

-Dues invoices sent out, please pay Ken

-The club voted to use half the deck for the next 50/50 raffle

-The next social is October 26^th the details TBD

-Georgie Hildebrandt formerly from the Scotts Valley club now lives in Puerto Rico and is taking donations for the relief efforts there. Contact Karen if you’d like to donate.

Laurie introduced our speaker, Cristine Chopra, the Executive Director for S4C and she spoke about increasing post secondary access.

Judy’s raffle number was chosen, but she didn’t pull the Joker.

-Karen rang the bell and ended the meeting with our motto Service Above Self.
